week 2 the circumstances of my birth.

I called my mother to get the details and she pronounced "She does not want to be on this channel anymore!" She is sooo computer illiterate. She could not remember anything significant about my birth. This fact led her and her card playing girlfriends to decide we needed a story.

So......

the story is that my father was leaving her and decided to stick it out cause I was just too damn cute!!! OK so the leaving part was her idea and the cute part was my idea. She is done with this blog.

What is your full name? Were you named after someone?

My birth name is Eileen Murray.

My parents had a deal with naming their children. My father would name the boys and my mother would name the girls. My mother chose Maureen as my name and she sent my father down to fill out the birth certificate and when he came back he had changed my name to Eileen.

I was always upset I didn't have a middle name and when the time came to choose a confirmation name I chose Suzanne which is my then sister- in- law's name and I loved her name. I took Suzanne as my middle name and it is on all my legal documents.

My Name is Eileen Suzanne Murray

Xmas reflections

It is midnight on the day after Christmas and I am reflecting on this Xmas holiday so far. I miss my Dad; the holidays are always the hardest for me. He would have loved to see his great-grandchildren enjoy the holiday. I can see him smiling at them as he holds court from his chair.
The kids had so much fun. This is the first Xmas Matt gets Santa and the whole naughty/ nice concept. He will tell you exactly how the reindeer land on the house and Santa gets into the house. The wonder of children, it is what it is all about. It was a good holiday. Lots of laughs great gifts and good food.

I went to see Sherlock tonight. I enjoyed it but a bit too much uncalled for violence that I watched thru my fingers. But it was good and Jude Law can do no wrong for me I am a sucker for the accent. I would recommend it with a two thumbs up.
